Has officiating in the NFL hit an all time low?

Post by konjo78 »

Almost every game i watch now in the NFL i see blown calls. Calls the nfl apoligizes about the next day. I know being an official is hard but does any one else agree that theyve hit an all time low

The NFL messing with the rules for a catch are assinine. With High Def Super Slo-Mo replays, almost anything could be subjective when it comes to a catch. The old rules worked fine: Two feet, and some type of 'football like move'. Diving, another step, turning your body, a juke, etc. Something. Anything other than 'just not moving from that spot'.

Now, almost any catch where the player is heading to the ground, even after 10 steps, could be reviewed and questioned.
