2016
never too early for some predictions.
Central will have a very strong team again and will be at the top of their classification.
Tyrone was very young and was starting to put it together towards the end of last season.
Hollidaysburg will be down losing many seniors and many key components of their offense and Altoona never usually has much to show every week
The biggest question in the area has to be the defending state champions. Does anyone in the district of not entire state have what it takes to knock off BG? Can they run the table and win 3 straight?
Nothing is more exciting the local high school football!

Re: 2016
I haven't heard anything different than BG playing Single A like they are to be classified as. In MY opinion they will roll to a 3rd straight state championship in Single A...Playing at the lowest classification there is no way of anyone moving up and becoming a contender or threat to them...and actually with other "larger" single A schools getting bumped up, their road will be even easier IN MY OPINION.

If BG stays at single A they remain unbeaten for a 3rd straight year in my opinionCentral will have a very strong team again and will be at the top of their classification.

Central remains the top of the heap for AAA next year, graduation hurts a little but they have plenty coming back
Tyrone will be young once again and I believe they are still a year away from having a shot at another title. QB I think will be the main concern. Down the road it will benefit them but it is probably going to be a soph starting for the first time since Steve Franco. The line will have some holes to fill on both sides of the ball and still waiting to see if the linebackers grow into the position. I for one think there needs to be a philosophy change as well.
Hollidaysburg may be down but playing as an independent will help. Altoona Godspeed. Huntingdon lost its weapon. Clearfield will be in the hunt again with Lezzer and Cawley back. Bellwood will also remain down.

I agree with all those points. Tahs alum. I think also it would take a miracle for BG not to win it again.

Central vs Hollidaysburg to open the season should be an interesting one.
You play to win the game!!!
