My knowledge is that they try to get as many doubleheaders as possible. Only way to get four tonight was to split up McCort.

Under that line of thinking, that applies to Monday's schedule also. Thus making Homer Center split the same circumstance.

They were able to get 4 of the 5 schools with both boys and girls teams in action tonight in the same gym.

Penns Valley the only one of the 5 to get both boys and girls thru to the semis tonight.

Tyrone hasn't been the same since Christine got hurt. Claysburg took them to OT in one of last regular season games. Kind of saw that coming with them. Nice win for Marion Center though. Also surprised with Tyrone boys beating McCort. Will be cool to have another Backyard Brawl in the district semis with them and Bellwood. 

Regarding Homer Center getting split up and not either of the Bishops, that is the only way it could be done. Since Carroll can not play at their home court, both of their games have to be played at Central Cambria, leaving the other two games to be at Carroll. 

Maybe a AA tripleheader on Tuesday at Hollidaysburg? Penns Valley/Marion Center girls along with Penns Valley/West Branch boys and Tyrone/Bellwood boys. That would be worth the price of admission.
