Madi Bum Bum
Madi Bum Bum
I saw this morning that Madison Bumgarner wants to hit in the homerun derby this year. Many, like a fellow co-worker, think this might sound rediculous, but let's look at the numbers.
Todd Fraizer hit 35 homers last year in 619 at bats, that's a HR every 17.6 AB's.
Madi Bum Bum hit 5 homers in 77 AB's, that's a HR every 15.4 AB's
Over the past 3 seasons, he's hitting a HR every 15.9 AB's.
I'd really like to see what he could do in the derby. I might actually watch it then.

Re: Madi Bum Bum
His average isn't as high as Frankie, but when he does it it..

Re: Madi Bum Bum
Why not set the HR derby up so the top HR hitter at each position since the derby the previous year gets into the derby?
It could make it a fun race to watch throughout the year too.
