Just imagine if Chadbourn were healthy this year.  BG would have had a legitimate shot at a AAA championship let alone a single-A title.
Truthfully, I tend to think it depends on who from the Philly area is coming up. I'm not sure how good WPIAL AAA is this year.
There isn't much in AAA in the eastern side of the state this year other than Middletown out of D3.  The big boys from D1/12 all moved up with the reclassification.

As BG should have. In a 6 class system there is no way any private school should be single A. How can they even be proud of themselves....they arent even gonna have a challenging game in the post season....ridiculous

Should Bishop Carroll and St. Joe's also play up to AAA?  Would a pre-Wheeler BG play up?

What about small public schools with storied traditions?  Should Southern Columbia and Clairton play up?  They haven't had much competition either.

The system is based solely on enrollment and as discussed ad-naseum on this site, even public schools with geographic boundries often receive students from outside the district.  BG has every right to be proud of their accomplishments over the past two years.

No..not AAA. In the old 4 class system i didnt agree with this because the jump was to large but in a 6 class system all private schools should have play up one level.... i don't think that is asking to much seeing as how they can attract kids from a AAAAAA city.

Wow, I just read the Tribune Democrat article in the paper on the Westmont-LV game. I don't think Ligonier's coach has a humble bone in his body. What a jerk.

Agreed Guru!
Up north.. Keep pleading your case. We played you guys 2 years in a row in the play-offs. Trust me, we see it, we get it.
And Justin Wheeler (who I personally think is a really really good coach) is not the only wheel in the machine that has been built there.
