Still a great season for penn state and that makes me happy, but the fact lots of people tried to say they were worthy of the CFB was ridiculous.

This is exactly how i felt this game would go.

Awesome. Great addition to the discussion. A+. Just wonderful.

If Penn State had put in as much effort against Michigan as you did to this post, they would have won 70-0 and this wouldn't even be a discussion.

Ok so everyone is saying that ultimately Washington stayed at #4 over Penn State because of having one one loss compared to two. So ULTIMATELY Washington got rewarded for this......

Washington Non Conference Schedule Ranked #126 out of 127 teams:
- Idaho
- Portland State
- Rutgers

Penn State's Non Conference Schedule Ranked #12 out of 127 teams:
- Kent State
- #22 Pittsburgh
- #23 Temple(American Conference Champion)

Wins and Loss's trumped everything else so guess what, AD's will now go back to scheduling cupcake's. The committee can thank no one else but themselves for this happening, zero consistency in what they were trying to say "counted".

I agree Portage Pride. Someone said earlier that #4 spot matters, it sets precedent.

Well Washington has victories over standford, Utah, Washington St who are all ranked or were when they played them and a top ten Colorado it's not like they played an awful schedule it's fairly close to PSU I think the thing that held PSU back was the huge loss to Michigan

Their schedules really aren't close.....
Penn States notable teams played:
#2 Ohio State
#6 Michigan
#8 Wisconsin
#21 Iowa
#22 Pittsburgh
#23 Temple

Washington got beat soundly AT HOME against the best team they played all season.
