This type of mindless bitching and dick measuring is the kind of stuff that sinks a good forum real quick.  Can we knock it off now and get back to topics of substance?

We've been around since 2003 as a site started by a volunteer coach during football camp with the help of some friends. I try not to post much now that I've become a varsity head coach for football.

Anyway, I like that coaches and ADs use the site. I like that media members use the site. I like that alums use the site. Two posters here get under my skin. If you don't like to see their stuff, hide them. It is a feature we have. If you don't want to post/read here, that's fine too.

I enjoy Crimson's Ghost, BillMurray, other coaches posts, AD insights, and posts from media members that have used the site (I wish they'd post here instead of starting separate blogs though and linking to them actually).

I agree that coaches should probably steer clear of the site but media members I would encourage. It's their job to know more than the "casual fan". The only reason I would discourage coaches is for their sake to many people want to cut them down when they don't have the guts to do the job themselves. it would turn into a bashing forum if we had to many coaches. I'm guessing you're referring to Crimson and Billmurray as media who's opinions I enjoy. Also, if one of them called you a moron you probably earned it.

Haha I'm certainly not a media member.  I cover some games from the Tribune every now and again, that's about the extent of it.

And coach I do agree with you. I enjoy reading stuff from them but I'm sick of reading while I have a website and know so much more then anyone else. Good for them but keep that stuff on that site and don't bring it to this one.

I use this forum so I dont have to go to other ones.
