Agreed. The way the Pirates are built, they will at least be fairly good every year. But the 98 win season of 2015 won't come around all that often. That was special.
They're almost banking on being consistently good and hoping the rest of the division is having an off year.
They're basically building their team to avoid the 20 year losing seasons in a row. And always be in the hunt. But to go to the next level and win some playoff series they have to take a few more risks, even if they have to risk losing their top prospects.
