Agreed. The way the Pirates are built, they will at least be fairly good every year. But the 98 win season of 2015 won't come around all that often. That was special.

They're almost banking on being consistently good and hoping the rest of the division is having an off year.

They're basically building their team to avoid the 20 year losing seasons in a row. And always be in the hunt. But to go to the next level and win some playoff series they have to take a few more risks, even if they have to risk losing their top prospects.

I'll be honest.... Most guys who get caught once usually end up getting caught twice in a few years. I wouldn't mind at all if the pirates look to get this guy out of their organization while his stock is high on talent! If you are going to start from scratch you should try and leave any possibility of one of your top guys being out a whole season!!!!!

Who have been the players that got caught multiple times?   Dee Gordon for Miami last year is the only other high profile player i can think of getting the 80 game suspension.
