You gotta love the people on here supporting the University of Altoona. There is just nothing more fullfilling and more rewarding that buying wins at the high school level. It just doesn't get any better than that. I assure all you BG turds that it's definitely more enjoyable being a part of a small community that supports a team's run through the playoffs. But to you all I guess us small town peasants just don't know a good time. Maybe we should charge $11,000 a year to go to HC schools and hand pick kids around Indiana County and winning will then mean so much more. We still kicked your **** in 2013 and beat you in hoops by 30 points 2 years ago. And if Wheeler was such a good coach back in the 2013 game he would have punted with a lead on 4th down and pinned Homer deep instead of going for it and giving them the ball at midfield late in the game? Oh wait.. It was because it was too cold for them and the poor center couldn't snap the ball cause his hands hurt. When we win at HC it means so much more. Its a community effort and just an all round fun experience. You can fill the stands with a bunch of rich people from mutiple areas and call it a community, but your only fooling yourselves. I just hope that if HC can't pull off the upset tomorrow that those BG kids hurt all over their body for a week. They may win, as they probably should, but they'll know they played a football game, trust me!!!

Have fun with Mccort dropping to A next year and having two Catholic schools to deal with, you're all welcome to come up to AA.

I believe he was there before freshman year but McGhee. His sisters went to NBC before transferring as well. It's the point that they can get kids from more than just Altoona and those who claim that "these kids have came up through from elementary school". They have benefitted more than what they would like to admit

They've been dealing with 3 for a few years now.  People forget Bishop Carroll and St Joe's exist sometimes since they are bad at football.  Catholic schools are only bad when they are good.

Nothing screams the holidays like wishing injury upon high school kids!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone, see y'all tomorrow.

I knew there were four, but I thought that only BG was recruiting, since St Joe's and BC have been so bad.  And BM can't be recruiting in football if they are losing district title games to a public school.

I doubt anybody would pay $11 dollars to go to HC let alone 11,000!

Lol dude that's hilarious if you think that you kicked BG's **** in 2013 you forget that it was a one score game until 1 minute left.  Your the one fooling yourself if you the community in Altoona doesn't like Bg.  No matter what everyone in Altoona comes out and supports us after we win in Hershey.
Maybe you'll eventually get to experience that feeling of riding a bus back into town with an escort of police and fire trucks and people lining the streets and coming out of restaurants and cars to clap and cheer you on.  Until that day I want you homer center people to sleep with the fact that it's because of you  that Bg is the monster they are today your the reason Bg is so motivated every game. After that loss that team made a promise to each other that they would never watch someone else walk off mansion park with a district championship medal around there neck. Many have tried to stop them before and they all failed especially that team of yours last year

If the 'altoona community' is so behind BG football how come the home side is never filled up. Id put money on HCs away side having more fans than BGs.

Not saying BG doesnt have solid fans but just calling out the altoona community support

BG consistently draws more people than every Altoona game.  I think it's pretty good when a single a school has more average attendance than one of the larger 6a schools in the state.  Last years state championship had the second highest overall attendance besides the 6a game. So I think that shows that Altoona supports BG.  You have no idea how many times random people would walk up to player and shake their hand s or give them hugs and tell them they're proud of them.
