Fourth straight state title between these two teams.
2015 - Imhotep 40-3
2016 - Prep 27-20
2017 - Prep 38-28
Cathedral Prep is in Hershey for the 8th time, and will be looking for a fifth state title. Ramblers are in Hershey for the 4th straight season, and will be looking for a third straight title.
Billy Lucas is the star of the show. 1,000-yard back and receiving some D1 interest.
Imhotep Charter always has around a dozen or so D1 players, but that has only translated to one state title. They do have one of the best players in the state with West Virginia-bound Tykee Smith, he will be a safety in college but plays on offense as well. Yusuf Terry is heading to Baylor to play receiver.

Anyone shocked that these 2 schools are in the finals?
How can anyone sit and watch this happen year in and year out and say there is no problem with the PIAA?
I’m sure both schools have excellent feeder systems! [emoji23][emoji23]

Cathedral Prep may be the only private school in Hershey this weekend. Good chance 11/12 will be public, so that doesn't help the narrative moving forward for people that want separation.
Full disclosure: I literally don't care if they separate, keep it the same, or add a multiplier system. Whatever happens or doesn't happen, I don't care. There will still be football on Friday nights either way.

Imhotep may be public but they are a non-boundary school.

Not 100% positive was just told that the final 4 teams in 4A were all non-boundary schools.Crimson's Ghost wrote:Can they get kids from anywhere, I thought they could only get kids from Philadelphia City?DragonsDoExist wrote:Imhotep may be public but they are a non-boundary school.

Cathedral Prep marches right down the field. Scores easily on the first drive.
