Yes drops stalled multiple drives. Why the ??? Hamler big 3rd down drop. Thompkins 3 drops including 40 yard pass from Clifford. 4 total drops in first half alone. 2 missed FGs. Another drop on the fake punt. McSorley missed wide open Friermuth for TD. All of that adds up to missed opportunities. Who did Franklin throw under the bus??? As usual u find some crazy way to spin everything that involves PSU. Lol

Franklin didn’t miss a tackle on a punt return, block a field goal, miss a field goal, or drop a pass. What is he to take blame for? Other losses, yes. But I felt they were the better team and adequately prepared. But execution doesn’t fall on him IMO.

After a game like this, most head coaches will take some of the blame. You know, like "I didn't prepare the team the way I should have", or "Our game plan could have been better". But most coaches won't say the players were to blame. Major league managers don't blame a loss on a relief pitcher who he brings in and then watches him walk in the winning run. He will blame himself for making the wrong move. Franklin is not like that. It's never his fault. It's dropped passes, or missed field goals. Nothing to do with him.

So you prefer coachspeak. Why didn’t u just say that. He didn’t throw anyone under the bus. He said what everyone that watched the game was thinking. As I was leaving the stadium all u heard from the PSU fans was about drops and missed FGs. It was pretty easy to dissect.

Yea, you’re PSU hatred seriously invalidates everything you say. Like it is rediculous. I do agree that Franklin is never the perfect coach but come on. Kids bailing on PSU? Fake News, those kids aren’t bailing, they’re cashing in after 3 great seasons. Don’t say kids are bailing on PSau when the recruiting is through the roof

I'll guarantee you the talk from the fans after leaving the game (as well as those on the internet) was NOT about dropped passes. It was about Franklin and his decision to kick that field goal rather than to go for it with 4 minutes left in the game, and the failed fake punt. Two PSU fans leaving the game, "Gee Biff, if we would have only caught a few more passes. Darn it". Right.

Take a breath and repeat after me, “I hate James Franklin, all that he is and all that he does, but most of all because he coaches the team I hate the more than all others. Joe Pa knew, blah blah blah. Fans are idiots, the boo when the right call is made

Receivers dropped balls all season, so of course the only corrective step is to let the receivers coach go. WHAT kind of insane logic is this anyway? If you can't catch a ball, you can't catch a ball. NO amount of coaching influence is going to rectify lack of natural ability.
It ain't over until it's over.

If u want to blame Franklin for something blame him for this. Corley wasn’t a WR coach. He was moved from RB coach to WR coach last minute when Gattis left for Alabama. Then they got Seider from Florida to coach the running backs. It was an experiment that didn’t work.

Were u at the game? I was and that’s exactly what I heard leaving the stadium. Missing 2 FGs in a 3 point game and catch the freaking ball time and time again. Sorry it’s not what u wanted to hear.
