Scott vs Strayer
i agree totally, jake has nothing to prove to garrett, as he was the one who won BOTH confrontations. the fact that garrett won teh state championship is a moot point in talking about their head to head competition. once again, jake knows he can beat garret, but garett doesnt know if he can beat jake.

Wrestlers" The best kind of people in the world. The cockiest, dirtiest, most irresponisble group of athletes in the universe. Will get with any broad and come back and tell all his buddies about it. Will booze at least 2 times a week and pretend they are still dedicated. Not afraid to live the dream untill they are 35 then realize they never made it anywhere. Ladies Love us. Guys want to be us. We are the soul of the universe.
Winning a state championship is NOT a MOOT point no matter what happened head to head with those guys.

I would pick Scott to be the victor if this match ever happens again. He has dominated all his opponents this year. In my opinion I feel that Scott should have won the match last year in the regional finals against Strayer.
Both wrestlers are very talented, it would be nice to see both receive gold at hershey.

Exactly Dawgfan--nice post.Dawgfan wrote:I do not understand all the discussion on this. Even as I also enjoyed the matches last year between these 2 talented wrestlers, neither one of them has anything to prove by wrestling this match. They have both proved themselves by winning a state championship. They have both proved time and time again that they do not shy away from any competition but i think we have the ultimate situation in hoping that they wrestle back to back for PIAA state championships this March. What more could we hope for! By the way anyone wishing to see this match-up should have been to State College over the weekend for the camp as both wrestlers were there during their off weekend working and training to prepare for the run and capped off the weekend with an exhibition of 2 of the best wrestlers in the state as well as the country.
