Next Season

Thats exactly the intentions of us having these workouts for the linemen. With the true game-time experience coming back, there's no reason NB can't be competitive. Nearly the whole team is coming back, and with this little bit of extra work, it will pay off come the season, I guarantee it.

i hope your right rodie...that could really benifit the team as u said...i was wondering when or if you will be in the weight room with the team at all this summer??

Absolutely, I plan to be around all summer. I've been playing fastpitch softball in Schellsburg for the last two years so my summer weeks were usually pretty busy. But I'm gonna give that up this year and be around the school. I also was working two jobs last summer which I won't be doing this year, either.

roadie...how do u think i will do taking over the hall position next season...do u think it wil be hard to step into his shoes and play as well as he did???

Swope and Hughes perfect combination. We can only hope that NB football figures something out to help them this year. Qb14 im always around to help out with that throwing. I bet this gal will show ya up. LOL

Personally, I think you're going to do absolutely fine, if not better. That's not cheating Jake out of anything, he did great for the team for the last two years. I think that if you and your receivers work together over the summer and learn the timing of the routes, and go to the passing leagues, and don't be hesitant to work and practice hard, you'll find that success will come a lot easier than it did last season. Which, of course didn't happen too often. The biggest thing is to be willing to work hard over the summer and making sure everyone else is working too. I realize you'll probably work in the summer, nearly everyone does, but on weekends and evenings, you have to be willing to practice and workout. And just think, there's a brand spankin' new field sitting out there, who wouldn't want to work out on it ?!

Hard work is always rewarded, and there's more than just me who wants to see success come back to the football program. But the players have to want it too...

believe me i plan on workin out all summer...and i hope your are right about next season if we keep workin that it will make the team alot better and more together...and yea the football field is somting to work for...
