Con township football

I have a question regarding conemaugh township voting to accept shade kids to come play football there? Didn't they have some nice kids back for this season and they could have very well been a contender or the team to beat for the district 5 single A championship this fall? Aside from that they're not even eligible for the playoffs this fall. If they are or were a contender for a championship wasn't the community or is the community upset about this decision? Shade has had some very nice athletes the last four or five years and I know they're getting a good group of kids but I was just wondering the reaction to the fact that they can't compete for any championships this fall in the playoffs.
