Bedford County Sports Hall of Fame/Museum, etc.

Post by foghorn »

I know this is a different sort of topic, but do any BCs know if anyone is presently actively involved in pursuing the creation of a Bedford County Sports Museum or Hall of Fame or something of that nature?

Year ago I knew Bill Creps was batting the idea around, but I haven't heard anything lately.

We've got an incredibly rich sports heritage in our county. It seems to me something like this could be done. Certainly Bleacher Coaches is a good place to at least discuss it. Just wondering.

I think this would be a great idea because Bedford County has some records in the state and great coaches as well as athletes!!

not that you all care, but did you know that nbc has had the all time PA rushing leader at one time...Fred Glasgow....all time wrestling wins leader at one time...Jan Clark.... and the All time b-ball scoring leader still...AJ Nastasi.... i'm sure all three would be members of the Hall if they make one...
