Interesting stats
Forest Hills top 6 rushers carried the ball 514 times in 13 games. Average of 39 carries a game.
They have 3 of the top 13 tacklers in the LHAC with 164, 124 and 114 tackles a piece.
For a team that controlled the ball, that is a lot of tackles.
Swaim had almost 50 more tackles than the next Bedford teammate, giving Bedford one in the low 100's and the next two players in the 50's and 40's respectively, also in a predominantly rushing offense.
Tackles should not even be a recorded stat.

Re: Coach/ players of the year by conference.
If your team has more assists than solo tackles then you are doing something wrong. Forest Hills stats have them for 88!! tackles a game. And almost 700 more assists than solos. Apparently everyone in the pile gets credit for a tackle. Tackle stats in high school should never be taken as an important stat because of teams out there like FH who don’t know how to keep them properly.

The games I saw, if they could make more tackles than they got credit for, they could've been 10-3 instead of 7-6. Failure to bring opponents down in the open field. I submit the BGU, CC, and Westy games for scrutiny.
It ain't over until it's over.

Don't forget the Bedford game Manfred. Didn't they have zero tackles in the first half but gave up like 48 points?

Central’s tackle leader had 85. We must be doing something wrong. Lol

You play to win the game!!!
Re: Coach/ players of the year by conference.
Yeah, Bedford ran like 8 plays, and scored on all of them? The game was over after the first 1 or 2 plays. FH was NOT ever going to win that game, period. But the 3 others I mentioned, were 'in hand' until they gave them away.TheAnalyst wrote: ↑December 8th, 2021, 8:59 am Don't forget the Bedford game Manfred.
