personally i think the astros will make a serious run at the world series. just because of their great rotation. and they have some good hitters to back it up too.

Let's not kid ourselves. The Yankees will be in the Series again. They're almost always there...its just a matter of fact. Will they win it? Prolly not...they lost Clemens and Pettitte and Boone screwed his knee up. Somehow they'll manage to screw it up. But I don't care...the Yanks being in the Series just gives me an opportunity to watch Derek Jeter play an extra couple of games. He sure is one of the hottest baseball players out there.

the yankees will prob be in the world series from the American league and the astros will be there from the national league and the astros will win it

U have 2 say the Yanks are the favorites from the AL... I mean they have a 300 million dollar infield and thats not including a 2nd baseman. sick.

I like the phillies outta the NL. They have a very deep rotation and a revamped bullpen. If pat burrell gets his act together they could be a force. Also i think the cubs and stros will battle it out in the central and both could be serious players come october.

the central is clearly the power division in the NL. cubs, stros, and now the bucs w/ the signin of mondesi.....look out :shock: one of these teams will make the series and my money is on the boys in black and gold from the north side.

U have to believe the Yankees, with the addition of A-Rod,cant help but end up in the Series. The NL, how bout the Cubbies, adding Maddux to the youngsters, they will dominate the NL. The Astros are close, but they just don't have the every day lineup to keep pace with the Cubs

Don't concede the AL to the Yanks just yet. There is a BIG ? about their pitching. In a best of seven playoff I think the Red Sox may be able to beat them with pitching. Another question is how A-ROD will handle the spotlight in the Big Apple. I believe the Phillies have a chance in the NL. Adding Milton from Minn. to their pitching and also keeping Millwood should help. The big thing is to get Pat Burrell to start hitting like he did a few years ago. I do agree the NL Central will be very tough.

i dont know if that will help...i mean in the NHL the avalanche gained a lot of talent from where they were last year and a lot of ppl expected them to run away from the rest of the western conference. and they still haven't

the yanks gaining AROD is a good deal, but they lost a lot from last year, like soriano, clemens, and petitte, thats gonna make it difficult for them to repeat as the AL champs, im thinking Boston all the way

too much talent can be a bad thing, It makes for more individual achievement rather then team. I dont think the yankees will make it, with their questionable pitching staff. I see the cubs, and some cellar team from the AL that rises out of nowhere like the marlins did last year.
