2001 and 2003 New England Patriots. Winning two Super Bowls in three years is a pretty darn good accomplishment. And the Dallas Cowboys from about 1990 to 1996, and the San Francisco 49ers during the 1980s.

STRAIGHT
How about the Big Red Machine of the '70s? Unbelievable starting lineup.
C - Johnny Bench
1st - tony Perez
2nd - Joe Morgan
SS - Dave Concepcion
3rd - Pete Rose
LF - George Foster
CF - Cesar Geronimo
RF - Ken Griffey Sr
3 Hall of Famers a fourth who should be in the Hall and three other starters who could arguably be the top player on some of today's teams.
They won the World Series twice and lost two other years. The 76 series is still my all time favorite World series.
Some one mentioned the Yankees and not that I'm a Yankee fan, but as I was doing some research I noticed that from 1921-1964 the Yankees were in the World Series 29 times. That is incredible by any standards,

bedrock, i am truely truely disappointed, i would think that of all people, YOU would know history.....but since u apparently dont, let me refresh ur memory....the old time soccer balls of the 50's era (i believe that was the same time frame as mccarthyism, the rosenburgs, and other such communists acts) but anyway, in the 50's soccer balls were made of a brown leather and looked identical to todays pigskins only round, not egg shaped. so put that in ur pipe and smoke it
