How about Adam Hyzdu being on the Redsox World Series team. He was a former Curve MVP and now a World Series champion. Pretty soon Blair County Ballpark is going to be called Hyzdu Field.

Don't forget about the ex-Curve coach that's now the Boston 3rd base coach. I believe it's Dale Sveum. So two ex-Curve guys are now World Champs.

Re: Adam Hyzdu
I had the chance to stand with Bronson Arroyo on the mound at Blair County Ballpark. When i was 12 my little league team ran out with the curve players for the national anthem before the game and I stood beside him on the mound. Too bad he now has cornrows. Whats up with that?
BTW, I also got to see Alfonso Soriano play against the Curve on his way up through the minors a few years ago. I didnt even know it till i saw his name on the roster in a Curve program i had saved.

Buzzards have to eat, same as worms.
wow, there is more than what I thought... Sveum is booed in boston, not exactly making a name for himself there, none the less, he was still the coach on the team and he now can sport the ring, just like the 25 players on the team...

Re: Adam Hyzdu
Dale Sveum is the only person to have a world series ring from both the Yankees (player) and Red Sox (coach).

Captain,
Wasn't Babe Ruth on both Yankee and Red Sox world series championship teams?

Re: Adam Hyzdu
I wonder if my Hyzdu rookie card will finally be worth something?
