Re: The (AA) Playoff Picture
I don't always agree with what gunner and ham say but i will say this. They bring up a good point. There is a difference in being happy for your team and gloating. Ridge is happy that they've won some games. The fact is everytime a game is played one team leaves happily. When it comes to a messageboard there is a fine line between being happy you've won and bragging about your win.
The recent comments about Ridge have been made in response to the posts by Ridge players and fans. These players/fans have been pushing the boundries of gloating and just showing joy, and at times they've lost all track of the line...
Most times when someone is over confident, general smooth talking isn't going to make them realize anything. Sometimes the best solution is to be very blunt and outright in saying the truth.
Whether you agree with what gunner and ham say, the fact is Ridge has never won a playoff game. Does that mean Ridge fans can't hope for a win? Certainly not. But at the same time it's not all that unreasonable for the lion-lines of the world to keep their mouths shut until after the game...until after they've proved themselves.
No matter which side you take, the bottom line is everyone is entitled to their own opinion. This isn't ayso where everyone must agree and everyone must say one nice thing about the person beside them. Wake up...people's opinions vary. Often times opinions conflict. The purpose of a messageboard is for people to voice their personal opinions. Messageboards work because not all opinions are the same. If everyone that posted here said "Good luck to all area teams, I love everything and I agree with every comment that's being said here"...do you really believe anyone would come back?
We keep the site clean and we try our best to keep it on topic. If you can't handle opinions that differ from yours then perhaps a public messageboard isn't for you. And if you can't handle each person retaining the right to voice their opinion perhaps democracy isn't for you. Try Cuba , but as for now, here in America, on bleachercoaches...all opinions count!

Good post Bison. This is a great opportunity for people to exercise free speech. I am not sure I see where anyone from CR has been bragging about anything other than the JH program. Which we all agree matters very little unless you put Ws up on friday night.
There is a line between bragging and being confident. At this point I dont think either necessarily apply.
