Re: Adrian Peterson
Timmy Chang, even if he did break the passing record, and even if he was the best player in the nation, wouldn't have a chance playing in the WAC. No dissing on that, just that you're pretty much ignored for the Heisman unless you're from a team in one of the BCS conferences, or on a team (Utah) that is going to a BCS bowl. Even if you are a player on one of those teams, it probably has to be one of the best ones in the conference. A running back could run for 3000 yards in a season in SMU, but if SMU still goes winless, he is not getting any contention for the Heisman. I agree with Hollywood, no matter who they give it to, they are more than likely snubbing somebody out there.

Re: Adrian Peterson
I agree fleaflicker. Of course he won't get it in the WAC. As for Peterson, Reggie Bush does it all, not just run the ball.

Re: Adrian Peterson
Interesting fact:
Now, I usually hate Herbstriet and Corso's outlook on things (They both LOVE Oklahoma and always said V Tech was gonna play for the nat'l title, when everyone in the nation knows that isnt true..), but they each released their top 5 Hiesman players, and Peterson was absent. Now, Jason White was on the list, and i think that is total garbage.. but it shows that if these two birds arent looking, neither are most of the Hiesman voters, as they share the same opinoins as ESPN's CFB anaylists anyway.
And for the record, Bush was number one on herbstriet's list
