I ocasionally peruse this site but up until this point have not felt compelled to post. However, the issue of recruit ratings is something that I've followed for a while now particularly when it comes to wvu. true wvu does not often get the so-called bluechippers but has done very well with guys who have slipped under the radar such as Marc Bulger, Anthony Becht, Jerry Porter, to name a few. Having said that, it should also be noted that often a recruits rating (ie two or three stars etc) is predicated on who is recruiting him and not necessarily on his ability. it is only natural therefore that most of penn state's recruits would be considered higher rated during recruiting time. the question to be considered is whether the ratings will eventually change as the two programs go in opposite directions?

I don't think that is better than Iowa, Ohio State, Minnesota, Wisconsin, etc...

If Pitt didn't have this record they should be ashamed of themselves as much as PSU is of themselves now.

WVU has the same first 3 with East Carolina and James Madison thrown in there too. I will say that I believe WVU is a top 10 team though...BUT the competition is PITIFUL!!
