Eastern States Tourney

Tyrone starts today at the 43 team, Eastern States Tourney in New York. To give you an idea of the competition there here are Tyrone's seeded wrestlers. 112- TJ Albright -8th at Hershey last year, seeded 5th at ESC; 119-Robert Waite - 12-1 this year,regional qualifier, unseeded at ESC(they seed the top 12); 135- David Miller -19-1 ranked #5 in PA, unseeded at ESC; 160- Brice Mertiff 19-1 Regional 3rd place last year,seeded 5th at ESC; 171- Heath Walk -17-3 district runnerup last year, seeded 9th at ESC. and HWT - Tate is the top seed because he's the 2time defending champ at that Tourney but will have to deal with 3 of the top 4 HWTS in NY and a real good one from Connecticut.
Sounds like a tough tourney!
