i don't understand this...you guys are bashing on miller for a move that his coach made? a stategic move at that? wow, give me a break, that was the coaches decision and he should respect the coach and he did
Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.

I agree. This thread is pointless...it's only people whining and complaining about a decision that the coach made (and from what it sounds like, it was a good decision anyways). If you have a problem, discuss the problem with the people who it's with...don't come on here, run your mouth, and expect the problem to be resolved or justified. It's pointless.

Well Brandon, sorry to see that a thread like this got started.....the only thing I can guess is a lot of people were looking forward to you and Bert having a good match since you are both good wrestlers.
And Gumboots was correct, Bert didn't have anything to do with this thread.........he never reads this board. He was looking forward to a match with you, and I know he respects you - cause he's told me you and him have talked after other matches.
Get your injury healed up and good luck - we'll look forward to seeing you later in the season on some other mat...

well stated mrs. horner, this whole topic makes it seem as if township is mad because miller had an injury and didnt wrestle bert, i have no clue who started this, or why they would start it considering they werent even involved with the match or anything that happened. Im sure brandon and bert will meet at a later date. And if millers at full health then he'll be out there on the mat.

Now that momma bear spoke her peace..
There was absolutely no reason for a thread like this one to be started. Personnel attacks on individuals are signs of immaturity and a lack of respect for the sport.
Now to Brandon, Hopefully we will see you on the mat again soon. Good luck the rest of the season!

What would Brandon be running from He is 1 of the toughest Wrestlers in the County and probably out of D5 and D6!!!!! And Ham what excuse are you talking about last year!!! I do Believe that Brandon Wrestled against Berlin last year in the District Duals with a Torn ACL and didn't win but saved our team 3 points in a match that we won by 1 point!! I Don't know many 10th graders that would do that!! I don't even know of any Seniors that would do that!!!

The book says play for the tie, and if you lose in OT it's bad luck.
But play for the victory in regulation and lose? You're a bad coach
