NBC @ Everett

Good game last night between these two schools. Adam Miller was on fire in the first half but NB kept battling all night. There is only one point in the game that frustrated me as a fan. The craziness that happened at halfcourt during the 4th quarter with 5 or 6 players scrambling after a loose ball and ending up with that amount of players in the middle of the floor going after the ball. Someone could of been hurt. This play should not of happened as clearly a chage call was not called by the officials that ended up as a mad scramble to the ball. I was dissappointed to see Adam Miller who I think is a classy young man and athlete go up to Brandon Rodland and threw him an elbow as plain as day. I know emotions get intense in a rivalary game but if the ref would of called a technical foul, which by the way the one official SAW IT, that could of really hurt everett who at the time was up by 3 or 4 points. If the technical is called NB shoots two free throws and gets the ball back. That play could of really hurt Everett. Not a good play on his part and it could of hurt HIS TEAM during a crucial time. ALL and all was a hard fought game but that one play I was dissappointed in the officials and the Miller kid who again is a good athlete.

I have to agree with you abou the mad scramble for the ball. I am a cheerleader for Everett and one other thing frustrated me. When us cheerleaders were going out to do our thing during the quarters and time outs, the NBC fans kept doing other cheers. It wouldn't have been bad except you couldn't hear a word that we were saying. We would've really appriciated it if the fans had waited until we were done to start to cheer. On the other hand it was great that NBC had that much spirit in the stands.
