Looks like Waltman finally beat a team he was supposed to lose to. This is his biggest win since he started coaching.

I was wondering about this game myself. I sense that CC could become Bedford's biggest LHAC rival. They are good at wrestling, football, and hoops...

Football, 4 times in the last two years (I think). A huge upset this year to knock Bedford from the playoffs....

Two good hoops teams...

A very good CC wrestling squad...

Anyway...good job by Bedford tonight. Also, there was a nice writeup about one of our former posters Sports999 in the Altoona Mirror sports section today. He is a darn good athlete from CC, and it is good to see him getting some local respect. He just seems like the throwback athlete that this area loves to follow.

Wow, great game. Bedford's tenacious D was able to thwart a potential CC comeback late in the game.
The Bisons led basically the entire game, and I think CC only got the game back to even about midway through the fourth. Mesaros played a tough game but I'm not sure how many points he had. He also fouled out with a few minutes to play.
D. Harris added 15 for the Bisons to go along with his brother's 30.

I think CC is definately one of Bedford's biggest rivals in the LHAC. Both teams always seem to come to play no matter what sport it is. Like coach said, the rivalry has really been built this year with the two football games and now these two basketball games, not to mention the tough wrestling match that took place in Ebensburg this year.

Bedford CC is slowly becoming bigger than the Bedford FH match-up. I know for a fact that it is bigger in basketball than the Bedford FH match-up, which is this friday by the way up in Sidman, the season finale. It's great for the LH and local competition. Good game tonight guys, from what I hear, you played to the level you will need to play in in the 2nd season.

I heard this this weekend, nothing to do with basketball, well not directly anyway. Rumor has it that Richland and Central want out of the LHAC and Tyrone wants in. Oh imagine the possibilities. Just what I had heard from a pretty knowledgeable person.

yah it was a great game... i dont see how we let them come back from a 11 or 12 pt lead... and yes i believe cc will become a huge rivalary in LHAC... the stampede was there of course and we by far beat or record we had 100-110 people in the gym we got everyone pumped up on the team and in the fans the noise was insane i think was one of the reasons why we won... we probally woulda barely lost if the stampede wasnt as noisy as we were tonight it was a great game no awesome dunk tonight but wow it was fun with all the stampede people:-D Great Game boys!!!!!
