Pistons vs. Spurs
Both teams play hard nosed basketball with an emphasis on defense and teamwork. They work very similarly, except the Spurs are more reliant on fast break opportunities when they arise. Who will ultimately win the NBA Crown?
Even though the Spurs won the first game, I think I'll go with the Pistons....

I'm going with the Spurs. Have to respect Tim Duncan.

Men forget everything; women remember everything. That's why men need instant replays in sports. They've already forgotten what happened.

The Pistons are getting dominated. Look for the Pistons to win 1 game at home and then lose in 5.

Well, the Pistons won last night 96-79, which decreases the lead the Spurs have to 2-1. However, if the Spurs take one game in Detroit, the Pistons are probably toast, since they haven't shown any ability to win in San Antonio. However, it ain't over til the fat lady sings.....

Re: Pistons vs. Spurs
Really? I like college basketball better too, but this is the NBA finals, for bragging rights and getting to lug home a huge trophy. The series is tied at 2-2, with the home team taking every game. If somebody manages to win on the road, I think they'd be able to take the series. So far, this has been a lopsided affair, with the home team winning every game by 15 points or more. Last night the final was 102-71 Pistons. Anybody think the away team will ever show up at either place?

The Pistons will continue the trend and win big in game 5 and ride that momentum to a game 6 victory in San Antonio. The Pistons have all of their game going right now, they have Ben Wallace finally dominating the inside and the have Mcdyess on fire coming off the bench. Everything is clicking and they should take this series in 6.

yeah...but when the series was 2-0 the spurs had everything going thier way too...don't be surprised if the spurs come out on top in game 5.
don't get me wrong, i've been rooting for the pistons the whole way...i just don't see this series NOT going to 7 games...

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.
