National Champs
Pennsylvania had several teams entered in the Disney Duals national Duel Championships June 21-24. Team MAWA came home as champions after winning all 11 matches in 4 days.
Team members from MAWA included Moley(103), Pataky(112), Shorts (112), Ciasulli(125), Kemmerer(119),Nauroth (130), Vallimont (135), Caramanica (140), Kessler (145), Chambers (152), Decker (160), Keyser(171), Shaw (189), Dobish (215), and Tate (275).
Our area was well represented with State College's Chris Decker at 160, Clearfields' Brad Pataky at 112, Hollidaysburgs' Brian Shaw at 189, and Tyrone's Terry Tate at 275. FTR, Pataky made it through the 11 dual meets with just 1 loss, and Tate went unbeaten.
