I said:
No offense to Richland and McCort, both had excellent seasons and have a lot of talented players
Then you said:
So your saying none of the richland kids or mccort kids belong on that list
which makes me think you didn't really read what I said (and also that you missed the English class when the difference between "you're" and "your" was discussed, but I digress).

So to clarify, Richland and McCort should absolutely be well represented on the list with Harrington, Boyd, Novotny, Gray, et al.

Yea how sweet is it that only one player per team can make the All Conference team?....

stupid, no offense to any bishop Carroll player, but wouldn't you rather have 2 or 3 players from richland, mccort, westmont, or somerset, instead of only one from each and giving a not so good player from a lesser school like BC a mentio instead of the 2nd or 3rd best players on the top teams???

Not at of the teams put their stats up, unfair advantage to the deserving kids

plus coaches can pad their kids stats up

not saying you did anything bad, just its not accurate enough to recieve stats from Maxpreps.

I admit that Carpenter could have padded Kirby stats, but the kid is a good player and would still me on my all confrence team batting .050 pts less. Also if they do pad the stats, that makes my point about Roberts not having the numbers to be an all confrence pitcher even stronger.

No doubt about it, plus not all people keeping score in a HS game know the rules. I mentioned a little earlier that I think this makes ERA totally worthless as a HS stat. No doubt batting average is also a bit shaky, but I think you could say averages are probably accurate within .035 points (in other words, a .550 hitter is probably a .515 hitter). Tangible things like HRs, wins, strikeouts are really the only things you can feel certain about. I'm torn about coaches and the posting of stats. On one hand, I wish they all would post them which would give us a lot to argue about on BleacherCoaches. On the other hand, I wish none of them would post them and it might help shift the focus onto the only important state: Ws and Ls.

Up until the last week of the regular season, PC's Rick Bono was the leading hitter (Avg) in the entire STATE! Roberts did most of his work at SS, as Kirby did his at 2nd. He is more than capable in the OF, though. Novotny was the best pitcher overall, IMO, in the LHAC.
