Man, I completely agree about Lane. I went to that Alamo Bowl and I was basically praying that the A&M staff would keep screwing that game up, which they did. Penn State played well, but A&M could have won that game, I think. Poor decision after poor decision by that offensive staff. And I have no idea why they stopped running Lane. I bet he stuck around because of Sherman, because Francione didn't do that kid any favors.

I think Lane could play in the NFL. Maybe not a great running back, but he has some power. What do you think?

I was so happy that A&M didn't use him in the second half of that bowl game. That kid could be a real terror, which I think a smarter staff will obviously realize. A&M might be the surprise team of the whole season! I know that sounds crazy, but the recruiting was never real bad, and it was always poor coaching.
