heres a healthy dose of vman

"I think BM's injuries will really handcuff them again this week (and when you are the cream of the LH, every one gets up 4 you; as BM is like thee game of the year for most all squads in the LH).

Actually play was almost directly in front of me, I was on sidelines and a couple nearby, knowledgeable fans also saw it, clearly a forward lateral.....did have copy of game tape & reviewed next morn...NO DOUBT forward lateral....and no conspiracy session needed, it was a Richland crew, believe me Don jr has learned some things well from daddy!! But hey, no excuses, when you are a top dog and w/ all those Haters out there you get used to no calls & @ times playing against the zebras. Early in game in a first & goal situation, a phantom holding flag, then later in 2nd qtr., on a 3rd & goal, BM scored on like a 7 yd run.....late flag, ref explained that wing back, who motions on nearly every play, was not set a like a full second prior to motioning...I heard his explanation to the BM coaches "he's been doing it all game"...WTF, they had not called it all game but after a td run on 3rd & goal a late hanky comes out?? that was a huge call as McCort did not convert 3rd & more than 10 & settled for a fg.......It isn't easy being a Crusher either but adversity makes one tougher!

And no excuses but we heard about Rich having a receiver out but BM overcame numerous obstacles/injuries in that contest.....to start w/ Josh S., who was running incredibly well early in yr, has played D only last 3 weeks due to a muscle related injury & is far from 100%, Belsky (who starts on both lines hurt a knee early in game & was out, Merriman, who starts mlb, apparently played on bad ankle & time was extremely limited, Jack S was injured on a punt return late in 1st qtr & tried to continue in secondary but to Richlands' credit they saw he could not put weight on leg & immediately went after him...BM coaches saw same thing & he was replaced on D early in 2nd Qtr, he only threw once in second half & could barely move enough to hand off to rb's, TJ Mc, a two way starter went down in second half and played sparingly after.....that equates to 4 defensive starters not on field in 2nd half & another toughing it out & playing while impaired."

Cheese anyone?

good points amusedchatter. keep in mind CC has a running game too..they just finally opened it up against bedford last week. O'saben is a quick back, so once he gets into the open field, have fun Rangers when chasing him down. Not quite sure if CCs passing game is quite as good as FH is right now, but during a big game like this it seems that everyone has the game of their lives. I sincerely believe this game could go either way right now, but im keeping FH to come out on top mainly because they have beaten all their opponents thus far, and CC has struggled.

Losing wasilewski is a big hurt as well..he had a huge game for the Devils in the win last year. He should never have been moved to QB in my opinion. he was one of the LHACs top wideouts. ive seen that kid play a few games, and he was one reason the passing game worked so well for CC. any word on when he's supossed to be back?

I agree 100% with you nlions, this game could and shout end up being a dog fight--I will be seriously disappointed if it is a blow out. Both teams have good running games and as it was stated earlier, I would agree with the #1 and #2 defenses playing in this game, dont be surprised if the scores dont get out of the 20s. Mehall and Osaben are in line to both have big nights, if Osaben can get the corner on the Rangers huge Dline look out and same with Mehall if he is able to get past that initial wave of a hard blitzing CC team. FH obviously has the advantage in the passing game, but dont count out Ridgeley from his slot possition, CC has slowly started to rebuild an air attack (It just took a little longer due to the qb change). If the rain starts to fall on Friday night I think it will help CC more than FH and make things very interesting! This is my game of the week and hope that it will be a great game to watch. As for Wasilewski, he was on crutched last Friday for pregame, but was walking in a boot during the game. If he is starting to walk then I would say probably another 4 weeks with rehab and getting back into practice, CC will haveta make the playoffs for him.

BC barely got by WH and BM crushed the Huskies. IF WH scores more than 10 in this game that will be a shocker.
