The Windber-Berlin game was a barnburner... Berlin took the lead early in the fourth, but on the very next play Windber went 60 yards on a big pass play to take the lead for good.

BEA knocked off Bellefonte 13-9. I guess Westy has to win tomorrow.

Wait, Franco actually hit the linesman?

If that's true, that could get ugly.

These stats are just estimates so don't quote me on these
O'Saben broke the record by a modest 50 yards and if he would of ran the whole entire game he would of put up 300 yards but he ended up with 175 yards with 3 tds and only about 15 carries and ridgeley had 2 carries for 40 yards 1 td and michkofsky had 5 carries for 90 yards 2 tds, michkofsky and ridgeley has those carries due to the fact O'Saben had a few plays where he came to the sidelines during the 1st half but i don't know why he did.
O'Saben was also one 200 yard rushing game away from breaking the record for most 200 yard rushing games in a single season for CC

The way I understand it, Central threw the ball, Desch made a nice defensive play seperating the reciever from the ball, Franco was excited motioning incomplete . As the ref ran up and right into an inadvertant atomic elbow...lights out. It was innocent enough, definately an accident if that's what happened. Pretty sure that's what it was though, they nailed us with a sideline violation right away.

Bellwood is pretty good.
They have a balanced offense. They arent all that big or fast but the back is a tough kid who broke out of a lot of tackles. The QB threw a good deep ball as well.
Bg's problem was....they went down a few scores and panicked. Chris Brown played terrible. a few int's and got sacked quite a bit by holding onto the ball too long. But then again Bellwood only would rush 6 guys and Bg only had 3 WR's going aginst 5 DB's. The BG line was getting manhandled by those 6 guys. Then nobody was open for him
Defensively...they just wouldnt tackle anyone....very poor in that regard and then Bellwood had multiple times where the WR was wide open down the middle of the field...just poor pass coverage from Guilfoyle.
They played horrible....I thought BG was better then that.

Eagle, that's good. Franco is a great coach and I would have hated to see something happen to him over bad officiating.
