I couldn't agree with you more bleacherfan on many of your points, such as it giving you the incentive to work harder next time and dealing with defeat as well; HOWEVER, i guarantee last year left a terrible taste in their mouths and they will most definitely not want to go through that feeling again. I've been on that losing side in overtime in an amazing playoff game and losing it sucks, it leaves a terrible taste and you never want that to happen again. Yes all the good stuff you mentioned does come from it too, but the bad thoughts will never go away either. The CC players will just be more determined to go in there and "smash the door down" the 2nd time around.

Sorry, the D6 AA Championship game was played last week, just like the single A game. CC in an easy won.

Good call Crimson. Im not gonna take Central for granted though. They did beat a very good Forest Hills team...yet so did CC.

just a little note to tell these two teams along with northstar who are in double a -- there is only 16 teams left in the entire state still practicing football for this weekends games--- i for one am proud of these programs for having great years and whatever happens in the coming weeks-- be proud of the fact that you are still playing football and in the hunt for greatness for your schools-- be proud gentleman-- and humble- because these are memories that will last a long-- long-- time-- so once again-- enjoy-- enjoy-- enjoy----- the fan---

Great post bleacherfan I'd have to agree. This years D6AA championship game is special although not as hyped because it doesn't feature one of the 3 powerhouses (Tyrone, FH, BM) even though BM is no longer AA. The team that wins this has a legitimate shot at becoming a great program like the 3 mentioned above if they can continue their winning ways a few years down the road. Goodluck to both teams, I'm sure it will be a hard fought game and win or lose you have made your communities proud!

Think maybe its Central Cambrias time to break out of their .500 seasons, and finally become a powerhouse? This is their second straight district championship appearance.
As well they have beaten the powerhouse team on Tyrone these past two years..
