won 3 of 4 which is pretty good. 2 of those bowls were BCS. I'll take that. Wins against Tennessee, Flordia State, and Texas A & M. Loss in a game to USC. Say what you want about getting blown out but the team fought hard and I respect that. A few bad breaks go the other way (fumble by Green, Royster getting hurt, offsides by Maybin) Penn State could have been right there but they lost and there is no excuses. You act like beating Ohio State was some monumental feat after talking mad $hit on them all year. Can I hear hypocrite?

Show me where I said bad things about Ohio State all year. I said about how weak the Big 10 has been all year. They went out and proved that by going 1-6 in their Bowl Games. I can't remember ever saying that Ohio State wasn't a quality team.

When you talk bad about the Big10 in football, you talk bad about the conference as a whole. You've talked crap on the Big10 all year, so you talked crap on Ohio State, Penn State, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, NorthWestern, Indiana, Michigan State, Minnesota, Michigan and Purdue equally. The only reason Ohio State is a "quality team" is because they played your longhorns tough. That's the same team that got crushed 38-7 by USC. A team PSU lost to by 14 and hung 24 on. Please, please, please explain your rationale.

My rationale is simple. I have said all year long that the Big 10 had two good teams and the rest were mediocre at best. The two good teams were Ohio State and Penn State. What is so hard to understand about that? As a whole the Big 10 was terrible this season, this was shown by their 1-6 Bowl record. Just because Ohio State and Penn State had good seasons doesn't mean that the Big 10 as a whole was a good conference. What's so hard to understand about that?

see that is where I see it differently. The big ten struggles at the top a little more than most conferences (especially with Mich and Wisky being down). Look at the potential this conference does have though over the next few years. Ohio State and Penn State aren't going anywhere they are going to be solid programs for years to come. Minnesota, NW, Illinois, and Mich St. are all programs that may be a year away from being pretty dang good with new coaches. Michigan will be back sooner rather than later, Wisconsin is not going to go 6-6 very often, Iowa is a program with a ceiling but they will always play defense and tough football. Everyone poked fun at this conference this year but lets see who is doing the laughing in a few years.

I disagree with pretty much all of that, APBK. I'll be on the case later tonight.
