Do that does not appear to be updated. I am looking at the records (if I am reading it correctly) and I know Berlin is 7-5. Do they only count certain games in District 5?

Now, I could be completely wrong here, but I do know that D5 and D6 don't calculate the same way. (I actually like the D6 way). Anyway, someone who knows more bout this, help me out here......only those games within D5 games are going to be counted for district rankings. Berlin played some tournament games and they don't count in the D5 rankings. If you are from D6, your's is calculated differently.

in District 5, the only games that dont count are tournament games and exhibitions, non District and Non-Conference games count in the standings
each team is awarded 5 points for a win against a A team
6 points for a win against a AA team
7 points for a win against a AAA team
8 points for a win against a AAAA team
0 points awarded or deducted for a loss
5 points for a win against an out of state team regardless of size

the rating is calculated by dividing the number of points by games played

Here is how District 6 works:

4 points for a win plus

A = 1 extra point
AA = 2 extra points
AAA= 3 extra points
AAAA = 4 extra points

If you beat an opponent who has a winning percentage of .700 or better you get an extra point. This would be added in at the deadline. Example if Team A is 8-2 and Team B beats them they would not get the point. But if team A finishes the season .700 or better then the point would be added.

You then add up the points and divide by number of games played to get total.
