Trinity boys and girls both on to the District Final. Boys over Delone by 15 and girls over Eastern York by 9. Trinity boys will play Pequea Valley in the AA final. PV beat Holy Name by 1 in OT on a shot with about 1.2 seconds remaining. The Trinity girls will play Lampeter-Strausburg in the AAA final. L/S hammered Muhlenburg by 18. I see Trinity boys winning in a blowout. The girls is another story. I really like this L/S team and feel they will defeat Trinity in a close game, maybe 5 pts. Both girls teams and the Trinity boys can make some noise in States.

Red Lion situation in a nut shell. RL moved a player up from their JH team and used him in both Varsity and JV games. They then had to forfeit all the games he played in. After forfeiting games they were under .500 and did not qualify for the County or District Tournament.

Boys AAA - Steel-High defeats Lanc. Catholic 76-60. SH will be the 5 seed and LC the 6 from District 3. Will update you will Eastern York/Susq. Twp and Wyomissing/ York Suburban score.

Girls A - Lebanon Catholic defeats Greenwood 40-30 in the Girls A final.

Girls AA - York Catholic defeats Lanc. Menn in OT 57-51 to win 4th straight District 3 AA title. They were down 8 at the end of the 3rd quarter and forced OT and then sealed it in OT with free throws.

Boys AAAA - So much for Reading in states as they go down to Elizabethtown for the 7th and final spot coming out of Boys AAAA. Red Land with a nice 3 point win over Harrisburg to claim the 3 spot in states. Penn Manor beats Cedar Cliff by 9 for the 5 spot.

Boys AAA District Final - York Suburban 48 Wyomissing 45. Mitch Kemp hits deep 3 for YS as time expires but refs put 0.2 seconds on clock. Wyomissing actually gets off shot but it hits the backboard. Susq. Twp defeats Eastern York by 12 abd will be the 3 seed in states.

Girls AAAA - Spring Grove with an upset win over Hempfield by 9. They claim the 7th and final state berth. Reading gets the 5 spot win a 2 point victory over CD East.

Girls AA - Delone claims the 3rd and final spot with a 14 point win over Wyomissing.
