Fausey isnt bad, he beat Tony Dallago early this year and Dallago beat San Doval 11-2. Did you ever see Bennett shoot with his head down like he did last night. He has one of the nicest shoots ive ever seen. And it wasnt his sophmore year when he lost, it was his freshman year witch just happened to put him in the oppisite side off Mike Letts.

I'm sorry...I was confused...the D6 site talked about Port meeting Throckmorton (which will now happen), not Rich....my fault..my mistake...

just talked to someone about the match..he said San Doval was a stud in the match....

I think Bennett came into the match with the intent to win, but in the back of his mind he knew a loss would give him a better draw. Once San Doval took him to his back to go up 5-0 I think Bennett threw in the towel.

Two or three times after that Bennett took poor shots and as soon as San Doval stoped him Bennett just put his head on the mat and San Doval spun behind for two.

Your right! But lets not take anything away from SanDoval. He beat Bennett down. Bennett should not care one bit which side of the bracket is tougher. If you think you are the best it doesn't matter.

Fausey majored Dallago and Dallago majored SanDoval, Sandoval majored Bennett.

Maybe their are just some better wrestlers out there then him????

Did any of you guys look at the AAA brackets? wow, I know it's the state tourney, and it happens, but there are 3 or 4 weights that are just killer, from prelim the whole way through. At 119, Port has to wrestle Throckmorton in his 1st match,189 Piro and Dellago in 1/4final,160 is nuts, and hwt is as loaded as it has been in a long time-any of 8 or 9 guys can make a good arguement as contenders and last years finalists are in the same half of the bracket.Ought to be a great weekend.

Id have to say the toughest weight in AAA states is 160 by far. With Sheptok, Kemerer, Courts, and another westler(i forgot his name) all ranked nationally, this would have to be the deepest weight in the tournament.

You could be talking about Fleming or warner, they are both at that level and own wins over a couple of the others on that list in their careers
