Re: Day 1
Aaron Dreikorn has the ability to be an excellent pitcher. At ERA we had him gunned at 84-85 this winter with I believe the potential to get to 87-88 with some more training and developement. He is tall and can create an excellent angle to the plate. He still has much room to improve but has made some great strides from last year to this year.

Portage Alum wrote:Just a question....why isn't Johnstown ever successful in baseball? Every year Dee Dee takes them out of state for tourneys, where they get pounded, and then they come back and are an average team in the LHAC at best. And now this year, they have 7 kids who will try and play on the collegiate level (great for them if everything works out). Do they expect to finally do something this year?
Osborne and Johnstown baseball get more press than any local team and they never do anything. What's up with that?
And by the way, Single A Homer Center will pound Triple A Johnstown.

actually portage alum i believe that johnstown stopped going out of state 2 years ago for tourny's so your dumb .. oh and see thats just it the worst team in the LHAC is better than the best team in the westpac they should'nt even be considered a conference anymore.. since johnstown in your words "are an average team in the LHAC" that must make them better then portage.. this year look for jtown to produce well and have a shot at the D6 title and they did it all without recruit

J-town looks good for the upcomming season, might struggle in pitching a bit. that is the only thing i really see as a flaw for them.
