Re: Johnstown Trojans 2009
What's happening with J-town? I haven't been to a game yet, but I thought with all the kids they have that are going to play at the next level that they'd be winning more.
Pitching?
Pitching?
Re: Johnstown Trojans 2009
The article in the Tribune about their game with Forest Hills had Dee Dee saying that they have no pitching whatsoever. They were supposed to be able to hit but as we all know, good pitching beats good hitting. Thats what George Roberts did. I think that is what is happening here with Johnstown. They still havent played Richland, Westmont, McCort or Somerset yet. They have to play all these teams twice because they're all section games. Could be 8 more losses. They already have 4. I think this could be a really long year for the Trojans.

trojans lone bright spot is that they have a heck of a ballplayer in mcmillen. look for him to end up being one if not the best player in the area. this year theyll make an early playoff disappearance and lose to somerset yet again. no pitching. not even the yankees could make the playoffs that way. fact

Come on now...they have 7 "college signees" and a "legendary coach". And, other than Somerset, they only play schools smaller than them. I thought they were a definite PIAA state contender.

Re: Johnstown Trojans 2009
portage alum for some reason portage always missing becoming AA by one or two kids. i wonder why that is. maybe you should try playing against good schools instead of losing to ferndale. which btw is an embarrassment to you and your school. johnstown plays quality teams in the LHAC. but in the West Pac there isn't one single quality team. if you think jtown is so bad why did they murder "powerhouse" north star without two of their best players. this goes to show you that portage along with all the west pac is a joke and you should just stop playing baseball/sports in general. thanks ****.
