Pitt and Louisville are both garbage.
Re: Pitt and Louisville are both garbage.
3-0 yes, but remember, that was 3-0 with the greatest running back in the history of Pitt football in the backfield!!! At least that is what the Post-Gazette and Beano said!!!

WPIAL its time to create a nice list of our own:
2002- Sweet 16 (11 seed Kent State)*
2003- Sweet 16 (3 seed Marquette)*
2004- Sweet 16 (2 seed Oklahoma State)
2005- 1st Round (8 seed Pacific)*
2006- 2nd Round (13 seed Bradley)*
2007- Sweet 16 (2 seed UCLA)
2008- 2nd Round (5 seed Michigan State)*
2009- Elite 8 (3 seed Villanova)*
*-Denote Pitt being higher seed (6 of 8 years)
Last Final Four 1941
Maybe they should reject their bid next year and play in the NIT. That is the only way they will ever play into April.

Re: Pitt and Louisville are both garbage.
He took his foot off the gas, so tell us how many starters came out of the game. Then make the call for yourself on this: Since PSU DID make a good bit of halftime adjustments, did USC "take their foot off the gas" or did PSU actually play a lot tougher? I'll take Mark Sanchez's word for it, since he said in the post game that PSU scared the hell out of them in the 2nd half.
Special Note: That all being said, USC was still the better team and obviously deserved to win. Just like Oregon State deserved to beat Pitt, the same Oregon State team that lost to PSU by 87 points.

Interesting how WPInheAdL toddler turned this thread into bashing Penn State, what a loser. Anyways I was hoping Pitt would win it but how can you let a guy dribble the length of the court?

TAE...Petey took his foot off the gas...Everyone knows that except the typical blind Nitters...Of course Sanchez said that...Petey is 100% class and Sanchez had to say it as per Petey...If Petey wasn't class, USC would've won that game like 52-14...and the only folks who don't know that are the ones who are as drunk on JOKEPA and PSU KOOL-AID as David Koresh's followers were on him.
I note your use of comparative scores...SInce you're so into that, here's another comparative score that you forgot...

You guys make me laugh. I have to agree that USC turned it down a notch. PSU played better, too. It was never a close game.
As far as basketball goes, you can't even compare the NIT to the NCAA Tourney. It's not just about playing. It's about playing with the 65 teams that make the tournament. If you don't make that, then your season can't even come into comparison with those teams.
