I tell ya what, it's been a pretty darn good year for PSU collegiate athletics in general. Big Ten football championship, NIT basketball championship, national championships and Big Ten championships in other sports (volleyball, fencing, soccer, etc).

And you Pitt fans can keep making fun of the NIT etc....you're just depressed it's back to football season and yet another season, what now 20+ years or so, without a top 10 finish????

Here is a prime example of the difference between the Buckeyes and the Nits. We won the NIT last year and it was a bad year. I am still embarassed about it as are most Buckeye fans. The Nits win it and it is the greatest season ever. That sounds a whole lot more like a garbage program than Pitt - a team that has been to 8 consecutive tourneys and was just to the elite eight.

Penn State and Pitt have comparable programs in the major sports. No one cares about the others that you mention. Penn States football is good but cannot win a national championship. Pitt's basketball is good and can't win a championship. Both can win conference championships, although Pitt has done better in Big East basketball than PSU has in Big 10 football. PSU's basketball and Pitt's football are also comparable. Both have moments of brilliance amidst their mediocrity.

As a Buckeye fan, I find the PSU fans who look down on Pitt to be amusing. However, as a Buckeye fan, I look down on both of you.

I would like for you, a self-appointed genius, to break down for us the defense that OSU ran at the end of the Texas game. Please explain to us stupid people why you cheated up those corners and safeties against the most accurate QB in college football. Please tell us more, Wildcat, you have so much knowledge.

Ahh Former Wildcat once again graces us with his holier-than-thou presence. Let me explain something to you. Penn State hasn't had the success that Ohio State has had in the past in basketball. Ohio State can expect to make the tournament, and if they don't view the year as a failure as you have stated you did. For a Penn State program that is just now "up and coming", winning the NIT is a huge step in the right direction, whether you like it or not.

Where are all the national titles Ohio State supposedly has to hang over our heads? They didn't win the last two they were in and they don't get a "split" like the 2005 and 2008 "Co-Championships" they "own" in the Big 10 in those years. For someone to look down on a team they've gone 2-2 against the past 4 years is very very ill-advised. You boast about your recruits year in and year out, how many national titles have they won? Apparently that's the measuring stick. And apparently I'm missing quite a few.

And shocker, being a Pittiful fan, you would know all about jealousy.

Maybe the Nitwits can start an argument thread with all the OSU Buckeye fans about whose football program is more successfull, won more championships, and whose has produced more heismans. On second thought, they probably won't want to start that one.

This is the only number I know. Penn State has a championship this year in basketball. Pitt does not. That must burn.

Ham spews out psu numbers left and right on this website and then he comes back with this quote-
This is the only number I know. Penn State has a championship this year in basketball. Pitt does not. That must burn.

So Ham are you this ever knowing god of psu knowledge or do you only know one number about psu and Pitt?
