TAE reread my last paragraph.....I said name ones with more yardage? That says alot more about how good an individual player is. If they do not have a good supporting cast then they probably wont do well as a team.
PSU has had lots of players win a super bowl and probably never played a down, but that doesn't make them better.
Curtis Martin has more career yardage than Franco.

To play your little game here, obviously Curtis Martin was a great RB. Obviously Fitzgerald is a great WR.
But is it actually fair to rate colleges based on how those players fare AFTER they leave? I don't think it is. And I also think there is certainly something to be said about a guy who, from ANY college, can start in the NFL 15 seasons into his career.
Here's my question, to you, shocker: Is there 1 single PSU player that you have seen in college that should not have been drafted where they were drafted? Now, remember, this is not a "he didn't pan out so he shouldn't have been drafted" question. I'm asking you to name me 1 player from Penn State, who came from a good school and played good competition, that should not have been drafted, based on how he did in college and at combines.
Go through the NFL rosters and you will see how many PSU players are in the NFL. There are way, way, way more than you think.

Tony Dorsett was better than Curtis Martin.

I have been in a complete state of disbelief, shock, sickness, paranoia, and disgust ever since Dorsett's own approved line of friend chicken sauce went under. I bet Marino called him up and said: "Look Tony, I can't get fat men living in Cambria county to loose weight if you are selling them friend chicken sauce!!! Close down that shop Tony or else I'll sick John Murtha on you!!!"

Was Dorsett riding around in a golf cart and fake any knee injuries during any of this? Maybe he slipped in chicken wing sauce and tore his knee up.

I don't know? It might be like JoePa though. "ooooooh. My leg hurts. I'm gonna have to watch the game from the booth upstairs. I hope my assistants coach good so I can get credit for another win. ooooooh"
