It's interesting how an NFL player can kill a person without punishment but killing a dog can end a career.

How many times have you heard about a house fire somewhere, where some 63 year old guy perished in the flames. And then the newscaster will tell us that his 2 dogs also died. Why bring that up? People are out there going, "Oh my God, a couple of dogs were just killed. How sad". No one cares about the guy. But those poor dogs.
