Heights and McCort put up two scores each. McCort controlled line of scrimmage and scored on two long drives. Heights has got some talented skilled people and scored on two 60+ yard Vescovi-Brawley pass plays. I believe they have connected for four long TDs in preseason.

BG vs WH
It was pretty much even, BG scored 3-4 TDs and WH Scored 2-3 TDs.
Also WH forced about 2-3 fumbles.

BG456, interesting that you pointed out that Heights scored on two long pass plays. BM's weak spot last year was their secondary, that's the reason why Richland and BG were able to give the Crushers all they could handle last year, and if CC could have thrown a little better last year they may have been able to beat BM. If anyone else has seen BM, let me know if the secondary seems to again be their problem spot.

Interesting about BM and CH....

And speaking of CC, how have they fared in their two scrimmages?

For what its worth one of CH's touchdowns should've been called back due to a blatant offensive pass interference that wasn't called.

Two things on BM's "weak spot". First, it is no secret, they lost Schrey, Lowry, Reynolds, and while Pinkerton remains, he is taking over the lead role at QB. So it doesn't take Einstein or reading Salem's quote in the Trib to know BM has some uncertainty in the cover unit. Plus, any McCort fan can tell you they give up a lot of yards through the air. But then again, no one needs reminded of their success this decade either. In this area, high school football success comes on the ground. While Richland is obviously choosing to air it out, most teams run the ball, with pretty good results (3 players of 1,800 last season). Good passing attacks are around every year and great passing attacks are far and few. BM does an excellent job at stopping the run with their 4-4. Taking 8 men out of the box will hardly ever happen vs the Crushers but it is definitely something to keep an eye on with the inexperience in the secondary. If the experience at LB and DL/DE can get some pressure on the QB, it will take some pressure off of the DB's. Either way, BM was able to weather the storm last year, but if either of the scrimmages are any indication, BM's offense wont have much room for error.

I didn't think Schrey played that much defense last year.

Which is a cryin' shame, his only opportunity was after throwing interceptions...
