deliverance: Only an idiot would say: "If the Pats would have played the Steelers the other night, it would not have even been a contest." Sure the Pats have a good squad but what the hell do you mean that it wouldn't be a contest? It's not like the Steelers struggled against a mediocre team Thursday. The Titans have a good defense, offense, 7 returning Pro Bowlers from last year (including Kerry Collins)... so obviously it's going to be a tough game. The Steelers put up 33 points against a Pats defense last year at Foxboro that still had their defensive leaders (Bruschi, Seymour, Vrabel). The Pats will be better with Brady coming back..I'm not denying that, but the Steelers defense is still incredible (#1 in the league last year)......whats your thought process behind your Patriots/Steelers comments: are you just a hater, or do you have no idea what you are talking about?

Do you know what happened the last time Tom Brady was on the field and played against the Steelers? It was a blow out. I do believe Tom Brady threw for something like 399 yards and 4 touchdowns with 0 interceptions. The Steelers are a great team. They did not play even close to their capabilities the other night. That's all. I already stated in this thread that the Steelers would make it to the AFC Championship. That makes me a hater?

Anthony Smith was playing in that game for crying out loud. Polamalu was out. Ryan Clark was out. Ike Taylor was out.
If you wanna talk about unimpressive, that was the Patriots tonight. If McKelvin just goes down on the kickoff before the 2 min warning, the Patriots lose to a team that the starting offense didn't score a t.d. the entire preseason.
The Bills, unlike the Titans, will be lucky to win 5 games this year.

The Bills won 7 games last year. They are a lot better this year than last year. What makes you think they'll only win 5 games? I agree that the Patriots played bad, but the Bills were actually impressive. The Bills definitely deserved to win that game, but guess what, they didn't win.
