I agree with kmr, it's the same thing every year. Portage will never win District 6 because they have no competition in the Westpac. BM or Bellwood will finish them!

Who should teams in the WestPac like Portage, Blacklick, and Conemaugh Valley play? They graduate about 60-70 students a year. Should they drop out of the WestPac and join the LHAC just for football? Play schools double or triple their size? The LHAC schools are made up of large communities and bigger school enrollment. So if IUP dominates DII, then it means nothing until they can beat or play with DI teams??? It's apples to oranges.

The WestPac teams cycle because of their enrollment. Remember when Conemaugh Valley was really good and everyone hated them. Then Windber dominated and everyone criticized them. Now Portage is making a great run and everyone mocks them. When their cycle ends, which I heard could be soon, you bullies will pick on another small school doing good.

BTW, most of the teams in the WestPac picked up AA Chestnut Ridge for their open date. I think Altoona's schedule was full.

As I stated before, of course Bellwood and McCort are the best teams in 6A. Bellwood is one of the largest single A school in the district while McCort has unlimited boundaries. No WestPac team has any advantage over these two teams.

I expect a bit closer game than what most think, mostly because it's at CT.

I completely agree with you. Why not appreciate the fact that Portage has a great team. Im not a fan of theres but when a team around here is that dominant you have to root for them. I mean how can't you?

What I meant was for d6. It would be nice to c them lose a westpac game but it won't happen bar a miracle.
