Okay Kirky, First of all, you left off ND (top 25 w/ a top rated offense) who Pitt has scheduled for 8 straight yrs.......Navy went to to like 6 straight bowls, Bufffalo won the MAC & went to a bowl, NC State is a mid ACC team, granted but if UPS would schedule any middle of the road AC team like Va...that would be your big, blockbusting ooc game!

Pitt has ND, Miami & Utah next yr...
In 2011 ND, Utah, Iowa & Buffalo
In 2012 ND, Va Tech, Cent Fla & Buffalo

Joey would literally $hi+, again, if he saw that kind of ooc schedule......even one year.

Now that's pretty comical Kirk!
I left off Notre Dame because i count them as a conference game since u only have 7 and your conference is pathetic and it makes it look better for you. Seriously, take off the panther pj's and think that if i told you 10 years ago that Penn State would be in a conference with Rutgers, UCONN, South Florida, Louisville, Syracuse, West Virginia, and Cincinnati how pathetic would that sound to you if that was Penn State's conference? You need to add decent games just to make your schedule look legit on a given year.

...and yet the fact remains that if the Big 10 came calling, Rutgers, WVU, Pitt, or any other member would leave the Big East like rats jumping off the Titanic. Is there any other conference in recent memory that has a precedent for its members doing this other than the Big East?

Things that Sagarin doesn't take into consideration when ranking teams are, things like the game was played on a WET field, or that one team had BETTER defensive ends.

Does Jeff Fag-arin give any bonus points to BE teams who get jumped in polls by teams who did not even play that week?

OOOOH. PSU and Michigan played Iowa on a wet field. No wonder they lost.

Hey, remember when Duke throttled NC State?

Yeah, so do the voters.

Nice to see those stats...

I know that Pitt lost to NC State who is in one of the worst conferences listed and they are one of the worst teams in that conference. The Big East is high in that list, but I think most know it isn't deserved. Put the top 5 teams from the BE in matchups vs the top 5 of the other major conferences and let them play. I think we all know what would happen.

Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, and Kansas

vs.

Pitt, Cincy, South Florida, West Virginia, and UConn

Georgia Tech, Miami, V. Tech, Boston College, and Wake

vs.

Pitt, Cincy, South Florida, West Virginia, and UConn

Florida, Alabama, LSU, Auburn, AND South Carolina

vs.

Pitt, Cincy, South Florida, West Virginia, and UConn

Oregon, USC, Arizona, Arizona State, Cal

vs.

Pitt, Cincy, South Florida, West Virginia, and UConn

Iowa, Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan, and Wisconsin

vs.

Pitt, Cincy, South Florida, West Virginia, and UConn

My own opinion is that most of these conferences would beat the Big East at least 3-2 in each of the matchups. Others may disagree and that is fine. I'm just pointing out that I feel those rankings are listed there, but match the teams up and see what you really get...
