Uniforms
Re: Uniforms
Anyone on here ever been to a parade or a halftime show where there is a color guard performing? Ever notice that the U.S. flag is held HIGHER than any other flag or banner. Loyalty to our country supercedes loyalty to individual states, even back in 1860. Robert E. Lee is the biggest traitor in U.S. history. He deserted his country to fight against the United States. He indeed WAS a turncoat. Again, Mao was NOT a turncoat; just a bad ruler. Those kids who transfer from public to private schools LATE in their athletic careers resemble Robert E. Lee. to some degree. Lee was raised and educated in the U.S. and attended West Point. Then bailed out on friends to fight against them. When kids attend public school thru 10th grade and then transfer to a private school, isn't that similar?

Re: Uniforms
To thy own self be true. I would say Lee stood up for what he believed and stuck to his guns. Lee believed that his state was more important. In your theory couldnt you call George Washington and all the other patriots traitors, turncoats? Its all perspective. Any example can be turned to justify a given position. And as a young man who attended a public school and left. Me leaving was the best thing to ever happen to me. I was in a horrible public school with a horendous drug problem, if i would have stayed there who knows what would have happened. But I my parents made a decision and stuck to their guns and I had a good career at McCort and a good career in general. Parents need to make decisions that are the best for their kids, mine did you may look at it as turned coat but people thought that of George Washington.

Re: Uniforms
Moldo, you are insane. Lee is the biggest turncoat in American history? How isn't Benedict Arnold, who had already turned on the US even when leading US troops?
Lee stayed loyal to his family and his home state. You can disagree with the south's purpose, but don't call him the biggest traitor in our history. With the exception of sending Pickett into that maelstrom, he did a pretty dang good job.

"Traitor" and "Patriot" are just a matter of perspective:
Ex:
Thomas Jefferson was a traitor.
Tom Brady was a patriot.

Re: Uniforms
I was always a Favre fan. Then like alot of folks, started to become a "hater", because of the media. But after watching him play the week before their game with the Packers(don't remember vs, who), but on this one play, Favre threw about a 20yd out, then as the recieverbroke a few tackles and made his way back towards the middle of the field, this purple streak enters the screen and lays a wicked block, freeing Berrian for another 8 yds....It was FAVRE, ..40 years old, throws a pass, then sprints 50 yds to get in front of his reciever and lays out a 255# l-backer. The man deserves any and all attention he gets. Love him! Rooting against him this week, but the rest of the year....hope they go 15-1
