I don't know if you're drunk or unintelligent. You know you spelled "stocker" wrong on your signature though right, dummy? KirkHerbstreit

Re: Pitt game, Penn St. game
Heard it might be wet at Beaver Stadium. That might spell doom for the Nits. Isn't that why they lost to Iowa?

I love it. This guy has seen at least 2k football games live or on TV and he is going to sit here and act like weather doesn't hurt speed. Nice try, old man.

Re: Pitt game, Penn St. game
speaking of records, Titan. Check out Pitts since their 3 good years in the late 70's early 80's. 3 Top 25 finishes since 1984 with the highest ranking #17. Ouch. I guess maybe this explains why the Stadium is half full on a good day. Here I thought it was because of the Carnegie Science Museum and KennyWood.

Re: Pitt game, Penn St. game
Has Penn State won a BCS game? Yep. Has Pitt won a BCS game, Titan? Nope.
How about we look at the recent scores from Bowl games that Pitt has attended vs. the last few games PSU has attended and the correlating scores. Since we're so hard up on scores.
Pitt 2009 points scored=0 Opponents score=3
Pitt 2004 points scored=7 Opponents score=35
Pitt 2003 points scored=16 Opponents score=23
Pitt's record in last 3 bowl games=0-3
Penn State points scored 2009=24 Opponents score=38
Penn State points scored 2008=24 Opponents score=17
Penn State points scored 2007=20 Opponents score=10
Penn State's record in last 3 bowl games=2-1
Pitt's last 10+ win season? 1981.
Penn State's last 10+ win season? 2008.
Keep looking from 2000 forward. The PSU teams from 2000-2004 were some of the worst in school history(minus the 2002 team). Meanwhile, since 2005, Penn State has won 10 games twice. With 2 other 9 win campaigns. Pitt needs 4 seasons from 2005-2008 to eclipse PSU's win totals from 2005 and 2008 alone. I'll spell it out for you. Pitt is 30-24 from 2005-present. Penn State's record from 2005-present is 45-12.
Keep dreaming that you're even close to the same level as PSU's football program is now.

Re: Pitt game, Penn St. game
And since everybody loves to point out PSU's record in the Big 10, let's take a closer look at that record Pitt has in the Big lEast.
53 wins since 1991. Are you serious?
Well maybe they didn't have that many conference games. So let's look at the losses while we're at it.
66 losses since 1991. Unreal.
53-66 record in the Big lEast. Phenomenal performances.
44% winning percentage.
Penn State since 1993 has 86 wins in the Big 10 conference.
Penn State since 1993 has 48 losses in the Big 10 conference.
64% winning percentage.
Conference titles:
Pitt: 1
Penn State: 3
The numbers don't lie, fellas.

Re: Pitt game, Penn St. game
Oh I forgot.
Cue titan's list. V-man showing us FAG-arin's numbers show how much tougher the Little lEast is. Do anything but talk about the numbers presented. Lord knows you have no reason to try to tell us what's going on with them. You guys should be politicians.

Re: Pitt game, Penn St. game
Ham since you are good with research and numbers could you do that same comparison with psu and Florida and / or USC and their perspective leagues and then tell me if the nitters are on the same level as those 2 teams. Maybe even throw in Oklahoma too and maybe even LSU. I think you will find psu isn't even close to those programs. Maybe you should try the political field....
