Disappointingly it looks as though The hornet will not be able to play this week. He should be cleared to play next week when his Rams take on Penn Cambria.

How about a flag for pass interference?

I think that would be a good matchup, what does this Gaunt kid run in his 40? I hear the hornets runnin a high 4.6? he is about 6'1, what is Gaunts height? Curiosity strikes me once again, how many catches and yards does this young man have? Thanks

Gaunt runs his 40 in the 4.5 range..As of now he has 59 catches for 857 yards..and i'd say he is about 5'11 180 some pounds. With his stats i'd have to give the edge to Gaunt. Not one man in the area can cover him one on one.

LOL. the kid plays in the westpac and see's 90% man coverage because teams play 8 and 9 guys in the box. In the lhac he would be shut down pretty easily. Domonkos and McCombie would both hold him to a catch or two if he's lucky.

I agree with lakersfan. If Gaunt played in the lhac he would have a much tougher time putting up those numbers. Majority of the teams in the westpac are run heavy, im not saying the lhac isnt run heavy either but there is definitely a lot more of a passing threat and defensive back covering skill in the lhac.

It is sad though that we couldn't see the hornet play most of this season. When you're a senior that is rough. I just hope when he returns he is healthy and can help his team make some noise.

I also agree, the westpac is more run heavy than pass pro, the DB's in the westpac rarely get experience in man to man coverage in a game like situation. Coming into a more pass pro league westpac receivers just aren't ready for zone coverage and some pretty experienced DB's that follow. I am not trying to put down the westpac but I am gonna take an LHAC DB over a westpac WR, unless your ridiculous...I looked up this Gaunt kid and he seems like a good WR, best of luck to him for the remainder of the season and everything that follows and also good luck to "the hornet", hope your back asap..
